Hello, dear friends.  So happy to be writing to you as we approach Christmas.  Grammy loves this time of year and has made the living-room look so festive.  No! No tree.  We would be naughty should there be a fir tree in the room.  It would be a supine fur tree. Yep, we are only allowed the cat tree (aka kitty condo) and that doesn't get decorated... except with our fur.

So no tree, but we do have a few decorations hanging from the tops of book cases, candles wrapped in poinsettias and holly with the prettiest cardinal ribbons and Christmas cards sprinkled around the shelves.  Wreaths festoon doors and there is even a pretty tablecloth of poinsettias on the dining table.   When Grammy lights (battery operated) candles and turns on the fireplace channel it looks so cozy and  festive.   Christmas is quiet around here... just the way we like it.  (Well, just as we like it when Grammy is around.  It would be party central with our friends if she were to go out.  But alas, that's not the case this year.
